Getting Started

Creating an account

Having an WyzthScan account allows you to use sign-in only features and tools such as Address Watch List, Txn Private Notes, Token Ignore List and APIs.

caution

Note that creating an WyzthScan account is only linked to WyzthScan's block explorer services, it is not the same as creating an WYScale address.

1. Register an Account

Head over to the Account Registration page and provide a username, email and password for your account.

2. Verify Your Email

To confirm your request to sign up, a confirmation link🔗 will be sent to your email address.

Once you've clicked on the link, your account set-up process is complete and you may sign in to use your account-specific features ! 🎉

3. Using your account

After logging in successfully, you will have access to your account dashboard where you may utilise all of WyzthScan's functionalities, including creating API keys, hiding undesired tokens, and adding private notes.

Endpoint URLs

note

API keys created from your account dashboard can also be used for the Wyzth testnet and mainnet.

API Base URL: https://wyzthscan.org/api

Creating an API key

From your Account Dashoboard, click on the navigation tab labelled “API-KEYs”.

You may then click “Add to create a new key” and give your project a name. Three keys can only be generated at once per Wyzthscan account.

Editing an API Key

If you want to modify the project name linked to an API Key, click on “Edit”, enter a new App Name and save the changes.

If you would like to delete an API Key or suspect your key has been compromised, you may click on Remove to delete that key and generate a new one.

Getting an API Key

An API key generated on Wyzthscan can be used across all mainnet and testnet explorers.

Similarly, all endpoints and parameter formatting remain the same across testnet explorers, you are only required to change the relevant API endpoint URL as follows.

If you would like to delete an API Key or suspect your key has been compromised, you may click on Remove to delete that key and generate a new one.
